About Nie:
On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson was in a plane crash with her husband, Christian Nielson, and his flight instructor, Doug Kinneard, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinneard passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital.

Christian & Stephanie remain in critical condition at Maricopa Burn Center. Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body. His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%.

Nie has been blogging since 2005. Her blog entries are honest, whimsical, and touching. Her love for her family is evident in each one. Her sister, C Jane, is reposting some of her entries, which you can read here: http://www.nierecovery.com/

Word about Nie & Christian has been spreading through the news, and the blogging community. Many have begun special charity functions to raise money for the Nie Recovery fund.

Today I begin my contribution for this amazing family,
and I ask your help.

Thank you for reading.... thank you for spreading the word.......and May God Bless!

And now, without further ado........... May I introduce you to my auction item:

NieNie's "Angel Of Hope"

She is approximately 27" tall from the top of her Halo,
to the bottom of her sweet little feet.

I have attached a small ring, and pretty white sheer ribbon to the back of her wings so you may hang her on your wall or door...... Or you could prop her to sit anywhere if you prefer......

But, please be aware, she is NOT meant to be a toy,
she is for display ONLY.

Her wings are about 13" wide,
and have been "glittered" with angel dust....

Her hair is a sweet Cinnamon color.

Her body is made from muslin. Each seam has been double stitched, so that she can be a part of your family for years to come.

She has been stuffed with

100% polyester antibacterial fiber

and love,

and even contains a small pouch

of rose sachet powder in her chest.

She has a pretty little stitched heart as well,

because we know all angels have beautiful hearts.

She has been lightly sprayed with a rose scented perfume .

Her sweet bloomers are made of a sweet candy-stripe-floral cotton, tied with cotton thread, and adorned with sweet pink bows.

Her dress is a very pretty rose print by Robyn Pandolph, edged with lace and ribbons. The sleeves are a beautiful pink silk print.

She carries a very special bouquet consisting of 7 gorgeous white bridal roses, with one very special perfectly pink rose for Nie in the center.

Her bouquet is surrounded by ribbons, trims and lace, and she carries a very pretty 1 1/2" faux-crystal cross to remind us of the power of prayer......

I hope you love this dear Angel..........
She truly was a Labor of Love.......
Please bid if you would like this sweet Angel to come and live with you.....

Please feel free to use the

"NieNie's Angel button"

I have designed

which you will also see

on my side bar,

on your blog

to help spread the word....

Thank you so very much!

Hello there! I'd like to introduce myself..... My name is Joyce and I live in northern California, in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley. In 1975, I was blessed by God with a wonderful man named Stephen. Whether or not you believe in such a thing, ours truly was "love at first sight". We were married one year later. In time, we were further blessed with 5 beautiful children, four boys and one girl. Steve was my rock, my protector, my soul mate, and my best friend. We spent 30 precious years on this earth together, and for this I give thanks each and every day of my life. Sadly, my dear Steve passed away in December of 2005. He was such a strong spirit and loving soul that I know he is still here, loving and watching over us.
