Spiritual Sunday

"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers;
for thereby some have entertained angels unaware"

with the fast-approaching
holiday season I think it is a
good time to remember others......
and especially those less fortunate......
I know it has not been an easy year for many.......
so, let's all look around and see what we can do to help......
It only takes one person.......
perhaps just one small "gesture"........
it could make a HUGE difference
in someone's life.......
If you know or see someone who needs a lift......
or a hand this Season.......
or if you even "suspect" someone may be having a tough time......
please be the one to reach out........
and if YOU are the one who needs help..........
I pray your "Angel"
is just around the next corner........
May you have a blessed week........
filled with Love and Miracles......

Hi Joyce,
Love the angel and have always thought this scripture was so interesting. I'm glad you want to share on Spiritual Sundays but I didn't see your link there. Did you sign on with Mr. Linky?

Joyce,
So very true is the need to help others. Yes the economy is not great, and many more people are struggling; but we need to be rich with love in our heart. My son said that other day that he was glad the economy was not doing so great because that meant that people might start remembering the true resason of the season; Christ's birth date. AMEN.

I just noticed you are in the San Joaquin Valley and since the title of your blog includes the word Brookside I'm wondering if you live in that section of Stockton. We lived in Stockton for 19 years before we moved here 20 years ago. We lived on Alpine Ave.

Hello there! I'd like to introduce myself..... My name is Joyce and I live in northern California, in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley. In 1975, I was blessed by God with a wonderful man named Stephen. Whether or not you believe in such a thing, ours truly was "love at first sight". We were married one year later. In time, we were further blessed with 5 beautiful children, four boys and one girl. Steve was my rock, my protector, my soul mate, and my best friend. We spent 30 precious years on this earth together, and for this I give thanks each and every day of my life. Sadly, my dear Steve passed away in December of 2005. He was such a strong spirit and loving soul that I know he is still here, loving and watching over us.
