Now, tell me, isn't this just one of the cutest, sweetest little bunnies you have ever seen? It is from the Betty Crocker website. I made this one Easter for my kiddos when they were still small enough to be thrilled by it. Though I do remember one of them was very upset that he couldn't eat the ears too! It was much fun to create, a bit too sweet maybe, but oh so worth the time! If you have little ones, or are blessed with Grandbabies, you really ought to think about making them one of these delightful cakes~
Ok, I may be getting ahead of myself here... and ahead of the season too... I am already thinking of Easter when we still have St Patrick's day ahead.... sorry, it may just be due to my love for these little long~eared cuties in general, or it may be the sun peeking through the clouds this morning here hinting that Spring is trying to sneek in..... or it may be the fact that I had a darling little chocolate bunny for breakfast {hey, you can't blame me if the grocery store has them on sale for $1.00 ~ Mom taught me to never pass up a bargain}....... or it could simply be that I was up till 5:30 AM painting flower pots ~more on this later, including pictures!~ Well, whatever the reason, I hope you enjoy my sweet little friend.... and maybe this will inspire you to make a sweet new Easter memory this year!

OH JOYCE,
Talk about two peas in a pod. I made that for the girls when they were little too and I made one of just the bunny head.
Mine of course didn't look just like that....I used some "cheater" things to make it look like I used a cake decorator tip....

It's adorable! I love it!!!
Every Easter my mom makes a 2 layer round white coconut cake and line yellow PEEPS around the edges.
It is so good and cute.
I am so ready for Spring too... :-)
