HAPPY PINK SATURDAY!!

What a great day here~ we have rain~ yayyy!

For today's pink post, I decided to look up the meaning of the color pink

here it is according to:

Pink is the color of universal love.

Pink is a quiet color.

Lovers of beauty favor pink.

A pink carnation means "I will never forget you".

Pink Energy
Pink is a combination of red and white.

The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present.

White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential.

Pink combines these energies.

Shades of deep pink, such as magenta, are effective in neutralizing disorder and violence.

Some prisons use limited deep pink tones to diffuse aggressive behaviour.
Pink provides feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and love, acceptance.

Put some pink in your life when you want:
calm feelings
to neutralize disorder
relaxation
acceptance, contentment

Pink gem stone properties
Pink gemstones can be used to promote love, self-worth, order and protection from violence or aggression.

Carry or place pink gemstones around your home or office to stimulate love and beauty.

Check out Emily's site to see some really yummy pink gemstones!
And, here is one of my favorite pink angels from my collection:

And, sharing a plate I painted, which I have "tweaked" a bit with a program called

Photoscape.... really fun program, and it was free!!

TTFN~ HAVE A SWEET PINK WEEKEND!

Saturday, October 18, 2008

Ohhh, here we go again~
it's a PINK SATURDAY!!

Have I got a few treats for you today!!

First.......... there is a lovely blog that I like to follow.......

"for the obsessed bride"

It is definitely a "come by and dream and dream"

kinda blog.......

And, the lovely lady who creates this blog

has been doing a

PINK WEEK

Well, I am telling you......you just have to go and take a look!!

Just click on the blog name above to go there~

You will see some of the most awesome,

breathtaking PINK creations you have ever seen!

And, I want to share with you a couple of

tags I got from this sweet & talented lady:

I just love to look at them
goodness, she is so talented!

And, finally..........

for your relaxing pleasure..........

a

PINK BUBBLE MEDITATION!

I hope you will enjoy!

simple...........and wonderfully effective

Sit or lie down comfortably,

close your eyes, and breathe deeply,

slowly, and naturally.

Gradually relax deeper and deeper.

Imagine something that you would like to manifest.

Imagine that it has already happened.

Picture it as clearly as possible in your mind.

Now, in your mind's eye,

surround your fantasy with a pink bubble;

put your goal inside the bubble.

Pink is the color associated with the heart,

and if this color vibration surrounds whatever you visualize,

it will bring to you only that which is in perfect affinity with your being.

The third step is to let go of the bubble

and imagine it floating off into the universe,

still containing your vision.

This symbolizes that you are emotionally "letting go" of it.

Now it is free to float around in the universe,

attracting and gathering energy for its manifestation.

There is nothing more you need to do.

(how cool is that!?!?)

See you next week!!

About Nie:
On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson was in a plane crash with her husband, Christian Nielson, and his flight instructor, Doug Kinneard, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinneard passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital.

Christian & Stephanie remain in critical condition at Maricopa Burn Center. Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body. His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%.

Nie has been blogging since 2005. Her blog entries are honest, whimsical, and touching. Her love for her family is evident in each one. Her sister, C Jane, is reposting some of her entries, which you can read here: http://www.nierecovery.com/

Word about Nie & Christian has been spreading through the news, and the blogging community. Many have begun special charity functions to raise money for the Nie Recovery fund.

Today I begin my contribution for this amazing family,
and I ask your help.

And now, without further ado........... May I introduce you to my auction item:

NieNie's "Angel Of Hope"

She is approximately 27" tall from the top of her Halo,
to the bottom of her sweet little feet.

I have attached a small ring, and pretty white sheer ribbon to the back of her wings so you may hang her on your wall or door...... Or you could prop her to sit anywhere if you prefer......

But, please be aware, she is NOT meant to be a toy,
she is for display ONLY.

Her wings are about 13" wide,
and have been "glittered" with angel dust....

Her hair is a sweet Cinnamon color.

Her body is made from muslin. Each seam has been double stitched, so that she can be a part of your family for years to come.

She has been stuffed with

100% polyester antibacterial fiber

and love,

and even contains a small pouch

of rose sachet powder in her chest.

She has a pretty little stitched heart as well,

because we know all angels have beautiful hearts.

She has been lightly sprayed with a rose scented perfume .

Her sweet bloomers are made of a sweet candy-stripe-floral cotton, tied with cotton thread, and adorned with sweet pink bows.

Her dress is a very pretty rose print by Robyn Pandolph, edged with lace and ribbons. The sleeves are a beautiful pink silk print.

She carries a very special bouquet consisting of 7 gorgeous white bridal roses, with one very special perfectly pink rose for Nie in the center.

Her bouquet is surrounded by ribbons, trims and lace, and she carries a very pretty 1 1/2" faux-crystal cross to remind us of the power of prayer......

I hope you love this dear Angel..........
She truly was a Labor of Love.......
Please bid if you would like this sweet Angel to come and live with you.....

Please feel free to use the

"NieNie's Angel button"

I have designed

which you will also see

on my side bar,

on your blog

to help spread the word....

Thank you so very much!

My eBay Store

Hello there! I'd like to introduce myself..... My name is Joyce and I live in northern California, in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley. In 1975, I was blessed by God with a wonderful man named Stephen. Whether or not you believe in such a thing, ours truly was "love at first sight". We were married one year later. In time, we were further blessed with 5 beautiful children, four boys and one girl. Steve was my rock, my protector, my soul mate, and my best friend. We spent 30 precious years on this earth together, and for this I give thanks each and every day of my life. Sadly, my dear Steve passed away in December of 2005. He was such a strong spirit and loving soul that I know he is still here, loving and watching over us.
