Heros................

they come in all shapes and sizes............

they come in different forms...........

they have different jobs.........different personalities........

different mannerisms.............

some are bold...............

some are quiet ~ and only a very few get to know about their deeds.........

some become famous, and their glorious story is spread throughout the world..............

but, they all have some things in common...........

they do what they do because it is in them...........

and they do it because well, they just do.............

they don't come into this world thinking,

"I am going to be a hero"..............

and there are probably days when they would just as soon turn it all over to someone else..........

they would rather be on the sidelines cheering someone else on.........

but,

stepping back,

moving over,

turning around......

it just isn't in them..........

And, it is my belief that each and every one of us

has had,

now has,

or will have,

a HERO in our life...........

Me?

I have been quite lucky,

and quite BLESSED

to have known heroes in my life......

people who have come in quietly and left

an impact on my life,

and an imprint in my heart..........

They are the ones who will pick you up when you fall, and say

"here, lean on me awhile"............

They are the ones who will hold you tightly

as you softly cry for them,

and remind you that it really will be all right........

They are the ones who will promise to never leave,

not really,

they'll always be there in your heart with you........

And, they are the ones

who will,

after putting up with just so much,

stand up straight,

look a horrible, dreadful disease right in the eye,

and say

"BRING IT ON"..............

And, I say to you, that if you have such a HERO in your life..........

please don't waste one more minute......

please take the chance to tell them how wonderful they are...........

And with that being said........... I need to say:

AMY........ YOU ARE A HERO..............

AND, I LOVE YOU.

I love Fall!! I think it may be safe to say it's here....... and I am so happy! Wonderful, wonderful! The yellows, oranges, the crunch........ahhh, Fall, my old friend, "we have missed ye"...........

And, it isn't just me into Fall........ the magazines are too! There are always some pretty covers this time of year aren't there? I just fell in love with this one when it arrived:

The cake just looks like........... oooooh..........ahhhh...... you don't know how much I want to make this cake! Maybe today.... I made some banana bread last night..... Oh how fun to be able to turn on the oven and not have to worry about heating up the kitchen! Ahhhh....... bliss I tell you........ simply bliss!

Ok, off to start on some fun Fall decorations...... I hope you enjoy my Fall Collage.... it was such a total "splurge" of time...... but I had fun doing it! Oh....... and did I mention..................
